Getting That Outdoor Kitchen Vibe Without All the Hassle

When it comes to the appeal of an outdoor kitchen you really don’t need that much explanation before you fall in love. Many who have ever seen or used one quickly become obsessed with them to an unhealthy degree almost, that is how bad they want them. Unfortunately who has the space to really pull it off, more over if you do have the space, who has the money to justify having 2 kitchens when you think you probably won’t get that much use out of it. Fortunately there is hope because there are many ways you are able to create an outdoor feeling in an indoor kitchen. That’s right, the best way to bring forth your outdoor vibe to an indoor kitchen and thus maximize the amount of natural light that pours into the space throughout the day is all about location. A good way to think about this is that south facing kitchens will receive the most sun hands down. Where as if you flip the orientation to north, you guessed it you’ll run into very limited sun light through out the day, so its really all about what you are looking for and want out of your kitchen get away. If you are in fact going to be building your kitchen from scratch of have a good healthy remodeling budget to tap, then you should consider positioning the kitchen as such to receive the max day light.

The next thing to consider is, glass, glass and maybe a little more glass. You see relocating the kitchen is not really a piece of cake or a walk in the park. The kitchen is not in the budget for most people today. but there is other design moves you can make that will allow you the sunlight to flow in without hitting your pocketbook too hard. You can crate an indoor outdoor vibe in the kitchen by breaking that barrier and adding some big glass panels some of which may have the potential to open or slide as doors to break the barrier in your had between indoor and outdoor.

Next up try to go big with a sky light, this can be costly but this is probably the biggest thing you can do by way of getting the desired effect you want. Yes if a large glass door simply isn’t an option then you can always opt to go this route. Another thing to consider is that you should try to load up the space with plants and give the room real warm feel to it. This will help oxygenate the room and give it the outdoor feel and you can feel it in your lungs and heart. There is a lot you can do but at the end of the day you can always get a really nice cheap shade structure and table outside in order to get your desired affect. This may not be the ritz but considering what you want this can be a pretty good alternative.
